A 12-year-old girl was found responsible for a bomb threat that evacuated a mall in northern Virginia last week, authorities said. The threat against the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road was shared to Instagram on May 22. A bomb threat was called into a Prince William County elementary school Thursday morning, April 25, police said. Authorities were on scene at T Clay Wood Elementary School in Nokesville as of 10:15 a.m. a report of a bomb threat to the school. No devices were located and the school was evacuated temporarily. Patrons will be allowed back inside following a search of the school.

A bomb threat that cleared a Fairfax County high school turned out to be bogus, police said. West Potomac High School in Belle Haven was evacuated Wednesday morning, April 24 for a threat called in over the phone, police said. Out of an abundance of caution, the students were moved from the school to an alternate location as our EOD conducts a search. The search yielded negative results, police said.
