Sterling resident James Eugene Edwards, 58, was arrested over the weekend following a lengthy investigation into alleged sexual abuse that was reported in Manassas between January 2023 and February 2024. Massachusetts Man Wanted For Sexual Assault Apprehended In Virginia: Police A Massachusetts man was apprehended in Virginia in connection to an aggravated sexual assault and home invasion that happened over a month ago, authorities said. Washington Pearson, age 55, of Boston, was arrested by members of the United States Marshals Service in Norfolk, VA on Tuesday, Nov. 29, Boston Police report.  Pearson was wanted for an incident that happened on the Arborway in Jamaica Plain on Friday, Oct. 24, police said.
