Dispute Turns Deadly Between Two Men Watching Soccer Game In Adams Morgan One person was killed on Wednesday night in Adams Morgan by a gunman who remains at large after shooting a person in the stands watching a soccer game, according to acting Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith. Shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, officers were called to the 2200 block of 18th Street NW near a recreational center and Marie Reed Elementary School, where there was a soccer game being played.
