Arrest Made In Mass Shooting: DC Police
An 18-year-old man has been charged in a Washington DC shooting that left eight people wounded, authorities said. Byron Matthews was charged with various weapons offenses in the April 21 incident. According to police, one victim was found on the 500 block of Lebaum Street with non-life-threatening injuries, while six other people self-transported to the hospital in the same incident around 10:05 p.m., the Washington Metro Police Department said. A 31-year-old man was shot and killed in DC after an earlier shooting left two people injured, authorities announced.
