Federal Charges For Man Who Led I-395 Pursuit, Caused 13 Crashes In Stolen Ambulance: Police
A Maryland man is facing federal charges after switching from a pickup truck to an ambulance in leading a pursuit and crashing multiple times along I-395 in Arlington, authorities said. Trouble began for Darell T. Caldwell, 30, of Brandywine, MD, around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, when Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-66 near the 74 mile marker, State Police said.
