Christmas Eve Killer Who Shot Ex Outside DC Restaurant Learns Fate In Federal Court Nearly a decade after a fatal shooting outside a Northwest DC restaurant, justice has been served for the family of a woman gunned down by her ex on Christmas Eve. Marvin Lopez, 45, remained a fugitive for years in his native El Salvador until he was eventually tracked down and tried for the murder of Evelyn Yamileth Arroyo Guerra, prosecutors said. On Tuesday, federal authorities announced that Lopez has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the 2014 murder. Police said only that the three people had been shot on the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE and were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries around 9:45 p.m. UPDATE: Arrest Made In Triple Leesburg Shooting Witnesses are asked to call 703-771-4500.
