Authorities in Maryland are intensifying their search for an elderly Waldorf man with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing for over a month.
Richard Wilson Jr., 86, was last seen by family members on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 25, in his Waldorf home before being reported missing at about 6:15 p.m. that day, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
From the moment Wilson was reported missing, law enforcement agencies launched an all-out search using helicopters, boats, police K9s, and registered volunteer canine teams to track his movements.

Morgan Schmidt Parker Dies Of Flu Complications
The death of Northern Virginia's Morgan Schmidt Parker, a mother of two, has left "a giant hole in our family that can never be filled," her family said.
Parker passed away in late January in Landsdowne after suffering complications of the flu following a 38-year life that was as unexpected as her death.
Born in June 1986 in Prince George's County, Parker weighed less than 3 pounds, and "wasn’t expected to make it. However, as a baby, she fought hard and proved the doctors wrong," according to her obituary.
Parker leaves behind her husband, two sons, and a devastated family.
