A Stafford teen picked the worst possible moment to come home after a night out—right in the middle of an active police barricade following a high-speed chase involving a suspected drunk driver, authorities said.
The bizarre series of events began around 10:55 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, when a deputy spotted an SUV speeding at more than 85 mph along Richmond Highway near Courage Lane, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver, Justin Davis, 42, refused to stop and led deputies on a pursuit onto Telegraph Road before eventually halting at Grassland Court.

A Stafford woman is facing a host of charges after allegedly ramming another woman’s vehicle, assaulting her, and nearly running her over during a heated confrontation that ended in a Walmart parking lot, authorities said.
Rayshon Palmer, 36, was arrested over the weekend after deputies say she attacked her partner’s ex and was later found with suspected cocaine in her possession, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

A Spotsylvania man ended up in a backyard instead of his destination after barreling straight through a T-intersection and off the road, authorities in Stafford County said.
John Woodyard, 27, was arrested early on Thursday, Feb. 13, after deputies say he traveled farther off-road, through a fence, and came to rest in an area yard.

Carr, 21, was arrested after deputies responded to a reported assault on Ottinger Lane around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

An armed and dangerous suspect who led police on a high-speed chase from Prince William County is now in custody, authorities said.
The pursuit began early Wednesday, Feb. 12, when the suspect—whose identity has not yet been released—sped south on I-95 into Stafford County, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
