Leesburg Launches Volunteer Police Program To Strengthen Safety And Community Ties In a bold move to enhance public safety and community collaboration, the Leesburg Town Council has greenlit a new Auxiliary Police Officer (APO) Program that will recruit trained volunteers to support the town’s police department.
