Predator Used Social Media To Prey On Child In Fairfax County, Police Say Detectives are concerned that an online predator who targeted children using social media in Virginia may have additional victims. Herndon resident Gerry Frank Burde, 41, is in custody after the Fairfax County Police Department received a tip from the community about his inappropriate communications with an underage victim through the Internet. Police say that earlier this month, thy were tipped off about Burde's activity, and he was later located in Tysons Corner, where he planned to meet and potentially engage in sexual activity with his victim.
