12-Year-Old Girl's Bomb Threat Clears Virginia Mall, Police Say A 12-year-old girl was found responsible for a bomb threat that evacuated a mall in northern Virginia last week, authorities said. The threat against the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road was shared to Instagram on May 22. The mall was evacuated just after 8:50 a.m. as a precaution and officers determined there was no active threat to the mall, police said. The girl was identified on Tuesday, May 28, the PWCPD said.
