At approximately 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, officers were called to the 6300 block of Lincolnia Road to conduct a death investigation, where they found Myong Kim suffering from traumatic injuries to her upper body, police say. Investigators say that detectives determined that John Kim, 39, fatally assaulted his mother and remained at the scene until officers arrived. Both Kims are from Lincolnia. Clinton resident Keenan Turner, 35, was sentenced to 68 years in prison in connection to the April 2021 murders of Wanda and Ebony Wright, the shooting of a third victim, and the attempted murder of an infant when he set the fire, federal authorities announced.
