Fairfax County police were called to the intersection of Baron Cameron Avenue and Reston Parkway in Reston on Friday morning, Aug. 7, after a child riding a bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver. The child was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said shortly after 10 a.m. The driver, meanwhile, was nowhere to be found.
