The shooting suspect wanted for opening fire in the parking lot of a Montgomery County park has been apprehended in Washington, DC, police say. Gaithersburg resident Kenneth Oates, 38, is facing multiple charges following an incident reported at Welsh Park in Rockville over the weekend, though no injuries were initially reported. A 33-year-old District man has been arrested for murder weeks after the Prince George's Police Department released video of him moments before the fatal shooting. Frederick Stevenson has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of District Heights resident Daryl McCall, 30, last month in Oxon Hill. An ex-con from Washington DC has been convicted of shooting a transgender victim following a sexual act, federal authorities announced.
