A 20-year-old Woodbridge man is facing murder charges after a fight with a woman turned deadly, authorities announced. Officers were called to a residence on the 13500 block of Delaney Road in Woodbridge around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, to investigate a domestic dispute between family member who stated they heard gunshots coming from the home while leaving the area. A high-speed chase involving a stolen car in Maryland escalated dangerously Monday night when the driver rammed a Virginia State Police vehicle, sending the trooper into a power pole and downing live wires across Route 1, officials said. The pursuit began around 11:19 p.m. on Nov. 25, when Alexandria Police attempted to stop a Hyundai Elantra stolen out of Prince George’s County.
