A woman suffered critical injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Fairfax County that shut down a busy road in Fairfax County, police said. The crash was reported around noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 on Pohick Road near Havenbrook Way in Newington, according to Fairfax County Police, and the driver, only described as a woman, was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A stretch of I-66 was temporarily shut down on Friday morning in Fairfax County following a crash involving multiple vehicles that left at least one person with injuries, state police confirmed.
