Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Spotsylvania Crash Identified By Sheriff (Developing)

A 49-year-old man was killed early on Friday morning in a single-vehicle Spotsylvania crash, the sheriff's office confirmed.

Local resident Marcus Dwayne Coleman has been identified by investigators as the driver and only person involved in a crash on Oct. 18 in the 3900 block of Shepherds Road.

The crash was reported at around 8:15 a.m. on Friday.

Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team.

No additional details were provided.
