Wrong Lane, Wrong Choices: Virginia Man Gets Second DUI After Near Miss With Deputy: Sheriff A Stafford man with a history of drunk driving is back behind bars after narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with a deputy who had just finished a shift, officials said. The incident happened around 3:21 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, as Deputy D.S. Jett was driving home along White Oak Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.  At that point, the deputy saw headlights barreling toward him in the wrong lane.
