Police Probing Fatal Crash After Man Struck By Multiple Vehicles In Virginia Intersection Intoxication may have been a factor for the pedestrian who was struck and killed by multiple vehicles while walking in Fairfax County over the weekend. Centreville resident Tracy Roane, 56, has been identified as the man who was killed in his hometown on Saturday night while walking near the intersection of Route 29 and White Post Road.  According to police, at approximately  8:20 p.m. on Sept. 21, officers from the Fairfax County Police Department were called in to investigate a reported pedestrian strike in the area of Route 29 and White Post Road in Centreville. Driver, 30, Dies, 6-Year-Old Front Seat Passenger Critical In Fauquier County Crash A 30-year-old man died and his 6-year-old front seat front seat passenger seriously hurt in a Fauquier County crash over the weekend, police said. Joshua A Farmer, of Amissville, was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax after rear-ending a Freightliner tractor-trailer that was stopped at a red light in a 2017 Honda Accord, just before 6 p.m. on Route 29 (Lee Highway) on Sunday, May 19, Virginia State Police said.
