A sleepy DUI suspect who cozied up with a bottle of Grey Goose after putting on a show outside a Stafford County business got more than he bargained for after challenging deputies, according to the sheriff's office. New details have been released by the Fairfax County Police Department after a 22-year-old Manassas man died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Clifton on Saturday morning. Jack Gumm has been identified by investigators as the passenger in a Honda that was involved in the crash on July 13 in the area of Old Yates Ford Road and Henderson Road and died at the hospital on Sunday. 27-Year-Old Man Killed In Alcohol-Fueled Rockingham County Crash: State Police
A 27-year-old man died in a Rockingham County crash that police say may have involved alcohol. Justin L. McGuire, of New Market, was heading north on Route 11/North Valley Pike when he crossed the centerline in a Toyota Tacoma, ran off the roadway and struck a tree around 2:10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, Virginia State Police said. McGuire, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
