An arborist was killed on the job while chopping tres in Alexandria, officials confirmed on Sunday. Shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, members of the Alexandria Fire and Police departments were called to the unit block of West Mount Ida Avenue, where there was report of a worker suffering from injuries after coming into contact with an electrical wire. A death investigation has been launched in Prince William County after a 19-year-old was crushed to death while working on his vehicle in Woodbridge, police say. Shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, the Prince William County Police Department received an emergency call after a man working underneath his vehicle was pinned when it fell on top of him in the 13400 block of Greenacre Drive.
