I-81 Tractor Trailer Crash Jams Traffic In Rockingham County For Miles
A tractor trailer crash on I-81 had traffic piled up in Rockingham County on Monday afternoon, Sept. 18. The crash happened in the northbound lanes at mile marker 247.1 just before Exit 247A, the VDOT website said. The north left shoulder and left lane are closed. A crash on Interstate 81 backed up traffic for nearly eight miles on Friday, Sept. 15. It happened on the northbound side of the highway at mile marker 269.6 in the Shenandoah County. Major Crash Completely Halts Traffic Over James River Bridge In Newport News For Hours
Traffic came to a complete standstill on the James River Bridge in Newport News Wednesday, Sept. 13. The multi-vehicle crash happened in the southbound lanes of US-17 around 5:15 p.m., the VDOT said. Crash Slows Traffic Along I-264 In Virginia Beach
A vehicle crash was slowing traffic along I-264 in Virginia Beach Wednesday morning, Aug. 16. The accident happened on the eastbound side at mile marker 20.8 near near Lynnhaven Parkway, just before 8:30 a.m., the VDOT website says. Photos at the scene show fire engines and emergency response vehicles. Motorists can expect delays with the east center lane, right center lane, and right outside lane closed.
