One Dead, Two 'Seriously Injured' In Wrong-Way I-95 Stafford County Crash: VSP (Developing) One person was killed and two others suffered critical injuries in a wrong-way crash that shut down I-95 for several hours in Stafford County, state police say. Troopers were called shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 16 to investigate a two-vehicle crash that was reported in the southbound lanes of I-95 near the 146 mile marker. Police say that a Volvo SUV was heading north on the interstate when it struck a Chevrolet sedan head-on. Overturned Truck, Debris Spill Causes Delays On I-95 In Virginia Traffic was tied up on Tuesday when an overturned dump truck spilled debris on I-95 in Spotsylvania, according to the Virginia DOT.  An alert was issued by VDOT Fredericksburg at around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 3 advising that some southbound lanes of the interstate were blocked by a crash in the area of exit 130/Route 3, leading to delays. The southbound local lanes exit from the 95 Express Lanes is closed following the earlier crash.
