Karate-Kicking DUI Driver Jailed In Stafford County: Sheriff
A drunken driver trying to prove his sobriety with karate ended up behind bars in Stafford County, authorities said. Hugo Lucero Albeno, 43, was spotted swerving on Richmond Highway by another motorist around 8:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, according to Ryan Wilbur, spokesperson for the county sheriff's office. First Sergeant A.I. Assur found him at the Warrenton Road intersection. Lucero Albeno had clear signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming one beer, Wilbur said. Police ID Victim Killed In Stafford County Shooting
Police have identified the victim killed in a Stafford County shooting Wednesday, Oct. 11. Derrick Campbell, 42, of Stafford, died at the scene of the incident on the 200 block of Streamview Drive in the Rappahannock Landing Subdivision incident, Stafford County Sheriff Spokesman Ryan Wilbur said. He had been found at the scene having suffered multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Police did not name the suspect but said that Campbell knew them.
