16 Indicted In Crime Ring Targeting Asian-American Jewelers Across Mid-Atlantic: Feds
An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day. They were all arrested in connection to a violent crime spree that took place between Jan. 7, 2022, through Jan. 27, 2023. The crime ring members were all from Maryland and the District of Columbia. Police are seeking the identity of a man who they say robbed a victim at knifepoint in Fairfax County, all with three live parrots perched on his shoulders and head. A man and two teens who stole and crashed golf carts at a Fairfax County country club were arrested, and four firearms were recovered, authorities said. Stafford Juvenile Charged With Murder In Woodbridge Killing In Custody
Police in Prince William County are seeking a juvenile in connection with a fatal shooting. Tyler Jeremiah Daley is wanted in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man on Big Crest Lane in Woodbridge, on Tuesday, July 18. Daley, of Stafford, is wanted for murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, robbery, and shooting at an occupied vehicle, PWC police said.
