More than three-quarters of a million Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to potentially faulty air bags that could cause them to deploy unexpectedly.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the motor vehicle giant is recalling upwards of 750,000 cars, SUVs, minivans, and pick-up trucks due to the malfunctioning air bags, which could pose a safety hazard, the agency says.

Mass Company Issues Recall On 30K Blankets, Throws Over Burn, Fire Concerns
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall on nearly 30,000 Berkshire Blanket & Home Company heated throws and blankets over issues with overheating that pose fire or burn risks.
The Ware-based company's blankets were sold under its name and the L.L. Bean brand, where they are sold in stores. The CPSC said in its recall notice that they were also sold at Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Amazon.com, Target.com, Macys.com, and QVC.com.

If you bought butternut squash from Costco recently, it may contain E. Coli.
Safeway Fresh Foods, based in Vineland, NJ, is recalling fresh-cut butternut squash sold in Costco stores in several states, due to E. Coli found during routine testing.
A letter was sent to customers who purchased the product between Sept. 7 and Sept. 15.
The squash product was sold in Costco stores in Washington D.C.; Maryland (Gaithersburg, Frederick, Columbia, Wheaton, and Owings Mills); Pennsylvania (Robinson and Homestead); and Virginia (Fairfax, Sterling, Pentagon City, Leesburg, and Charlottsville).

Contaminated Oysters: FDA Warns Virginia Restaurants, Stores Warned To Not Sell Shellfish
cThe US Food and Drug Administration has advised consumers, restaurants, and retailers across several states in the Northeast to dispose of raw oysters harvested from the Groton Approved Area in New London County, CT between Monday, Aug. 28 and Wednesday, Aug. 30, officials announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
The affected raw oysters were sent to retailers and distributors in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and may have even been sent further than these states, according to the FDA.
