The legacy of a 42-year-old attorney from Alexandria will be kept alive with a brand-new scholarship fund. Mitchell Ethan Lucarelli died on Monday, May 13, according to his obituary on the Elmwood Chapel website. Ethan died an organ donor, "the last physical gifts he gave exemplified his enormous heart and love for others," his obituary says. A cause of death was not made public. A Stafford County firefighter has succumbed to injuries suffered in a fire last month. Mia Ethridge, 20, was riding on a firetruck that ran off the road in the rain and hit a tree on the way to a call on July 9, officials said. She was ejected and airlifted to University of Virginia Medical Center, where she died on Saturday, Sept. 2. She was wearing her seatbelt. Girl Dies After Being Pinned Under Car In Prince William County
The 8-year-old girl pinned underneath a car in Prince William County earlier this month has lost her battle. Jordynn's family announced on a GoFundMe campaign that they were hoping to have her become an organ donor on April 23, after suffering severe anoxic brain damage. Prince William County police were notified of Jordynn's death on April 29. Organs Of Loudoun County Fire Victim Will Help Others Live
A 47-year-old man pulled from a Loudoun County home Monday, Feb. 6 has died, and his organs will help others live. The cause of the blaze that killed Stirling's Jason Urchesko, his two dogs and a cat has been traced back to the battery of an electric bike, said fire officials, noting the home was also without working smoke alarms. Urchasko remained in critical condition at Inova Lansdowne Hospital following the 4 a.m. fire at his Thrush Road home in Stirling. Organs Of Towson Student Killed In Crash Will Save Others, Mom Says
The mother of a 19-year-old Towson University student who was killed in a Baltimore County crash said her organs will save the lives of others. Catherine Pratt, of Easton, was heading north on Greenspring Avenue in Reisterstown when her Kia Sorrento veered off the road and struck a fence before coming to rest in a field on July 31, county police said. Pratt died on Aug. 1. The cause of this crash remains under investigation by Baltimore County police.
