Tanner Huffman, 22, played baseball for Massapnoax High School before serving the U.S. as a member of the Navy — following in his father's footsteps, according to his obituary. Tanner, of Colonial Beach and Fredericksburg, met his wife, Heather, while stationed in Japan, his obit says. They two were expecting a daughter, Kamryn June, together in October, the obituary says.
