Ex-Coworker IDs Alexandria Capitol Rioter Who Shoved Journalist, Police: Feds A 57-year-old Virginia man has been arrested for assaulting law enforcement at the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot, federal officials said. David A. Marshall, Jr., of, Alexandria, identified by a former co-worker, assaulted law enforcement officers and a member of the news media, shoving and yanking the journalist down a set of stairs, and assisted other rioters in seizing police equipment, court papers say.  Just after 1:10 p.m., he "pushed and shoved" officers in the West Plaza then picked up up a yellow flag and took an officer’s baton and bag, federal paperwork details.
