In Montgomery County, an alert was issued by police for Fanisa Mthembi, who was last seen shortly before 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 as she was leaving her employer’s home in Bethesda. Family Seeks Help Finding Arlington Man Missing For Over Two Weeks
Arlington County police are asking the public's help in finding a missing 28-year-old, officials said.Arefat Surur last spoke with family on July 30 and was last seen in the the 1400 block of 28th Street, according to the Arlington County Police Department. He was described as a black male, 5'6 and 135 pounds, with black hair, police reported. Authorities said he was believed to have left the Arlington area in a 2016 silver Toyota, with a Virginia license plate UZS-6307, heading toward West Virginia. VA Woman Vanishes After Church
A massive search was launched for a 35-year-old woman who went missing after leaving church over the weekend. Shanitia Eure-Lewis, was last seen at around 9:30 a.m. outside Gethsemane Baptist Church at 5405 Roanoke Avenue, Virginia State Police said. She was last wearing creme pinstripe shirt and pants and tan flats, police reported. She was described as 5'7, 178 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, officials said. Missing Fairfax Teen Found Safe
The 14-year-old girl who went missing early Monday July 11 has been located and is safe, police said. Daniela Pavon-Albright was last seen around 3:30 a.m. wearing a black sweatshirt with an orange ‘V’ on it and black shorts, Fairfax City Police said. Fairfax Police posted to their twitter page on Wednesday July 13 to update that Pavon-Albright had been found.

Authorities are looking for a missing Loudoun County teenager who they say could be in danger. Brianna Flores Loy, 17, of Leesburg, went missing early Tuesday morning, June 28, from her home on Lost Corner Road, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies say they are worried about her well-being because of a health or physical problem. The Sheriff's Office describes Brianna as 4-feet-11-inches tall and weighing 118 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Missing Dumfries Teen Found Safe
Prince William County said they found a missing 14-year-old who went missing on Monday afternoon, June 13. Derrick Dane Jones Jr. left his home on Sheffield Drive in Dumfries around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13. He got into an argument with a family member and made some "concerning statements" after leaving, police said. Authorities worried he could be in danger. Authorities sent out an alert just after 11 p.m. to say that Jones was found safe.

Brooklyn College Student Vanishes In DC
A massive search has been launched for a college senior from Brooklyn who vanished during a work trip to Washington DC last month. Tijae Baker, 23, was last seen April 29 by her mom, days before she left for an art convention in DC, according to those her knew her and the NYPD. Sources say she had been with a woman named Radisha Brown, and was last seen on May 1. Baker says her daughter became unresponsive after boarding the bus to go on the trip and has not been seen since. Tijae Baker is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall, and 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Missing VA Woman Found Alive In Wooded Area After 8-Day Search
The manhunt for a missing 69-year-old woman had a happy ending this week after rescuers found her in the woods less than a mile from her home. Aletha Gee Watson spent eight days in those woods and survived sweltering heat and extreme thunderstorms.
