Expectant Father, Navy Sailor From Virginia Tanner Huffman Dies Suddenly, 22 Tanner Huffman, a former baseball player from northern Virginia turned Navy sailor, died on Saturday, Aug. 26. Tanner Huffman, 22, played baseball for Massapnoax High School before serving the U.S. as a member of the Navy — following in his father's footsteps, according to his obituary.
