Minor Killed, Six Injured In Virginia Crash With Private Company Ambulance
A minor was killed in a Loudoun County crash involving an ambulance on Friday night, police say. Shortly after 9 p.m. on Aug. 2, officers from the Leesburg Police Department were called to the intersection of East Market Street and the Leesburg Bypass, when a Honda being driven by a juvenile was involved in a crash with a private company ambulance. Police say that one minor was rushed to an area hospital and was later pronounced dead. The driver and two passengers in the Honda were hospitalized and listed in stable condition on Saturday. Sex Trafficker Held Woman Trying To Escape By Her Hair In VA: Police
A 39-year-old man was charged with sex trafficking after he held a woman apparently trying to escape by her hair, then was seen pushing a woman out of his moving car in Loudoun County, authorities said. Andrew Hill, of Martinsburg, WV, was arrested after both incidents in Leesburg on Wednesday, Sept. 14, Leesburg Officer Michael Drogan said. Loudoun County High Basketball Star, 18, Recent Grad Killed In Car Crash: Police
An 18-year-old star basketball player who recently graduated from Loudoun County High School died overnight in a car crash involving a tractor-trailer, authorities said. George Mwesigwa was rushed to the hospital after a 3 a.m. crash on Leesburg bypass near Edwards Ferry Road in Leesburg, where he later died of his wounds, Leesburg police said. Investigators are still piecing together what happened.
