Suspect Leads Pursuit Down Train Tracks, Across I-66: Police
A man accused of shoplifting and giving police a fake name led officers on a wild chase that started on a Metro train, continued down the tracks, and ended with him dashing across I-66 before he was finally taken into custody in Arlington, authorities said.
Leroy McGill, 41, who has no fixed address, was arrested after a chaotic pursuit on Friday, Feb. 7, that involved Metro stations, train tracks, and a highway foot chase, according to Arlington County Police.

Three Bath & Body Works thieves have been arrested following a pursuit on I-66, authorities said.
Video shared by Dave Satter shows the end of the pursuit led by Tasha Easterling, 35, in which she, Michael Jones, 31, Shacota Brown, 28, were arrested just before 6 p.m. Thursday, May 23, who were identified by Fairfax County police.

More details have been released in a double murder Tuesday morning, April 2 in Manassas.
Edward James Jackson Bland, 36, stole a vehicle from a man at gunpoint around 12:45 a.m. on the 8100 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas, county police said.
Sometime before then, Bland is believed to have shot and killed Leann Harris, 34, and Asia Payne, 22, whose bodies were found in a nearby home hours later, when the stolen vehicle broke down near I-66 and I-81, authorities said.
