A reckless motorcyclist already wanted in Prince William County chose the wrong place and wrong time to recklessly drive a motorcycle straight into the hands of deputies in Stafford. Robert Ouzts, 22, chose to work against police, not with them during the annual National Night Out event on Tuesday afternoon, landing him a spot behind bars after attempting to avoid his arrest on a host of charges. Firefighters In Virginia Investigating Blaze That Broke Out At Academies Of Loudoun
One firefighter and one civilian were injured on Tuesday afternoon when a fire broke out at the Academies of Loudoun magnet school. Loudoun County Fire and Rescue crews were called to a reported fire at the school that was quickly knocked down after all students were safely evacuated from the building before firefighters arrived, officials said. Officials said that there was a small structure fire at the school that was quickly put out. Motorcyclist Killed On Stafford Road ID'd As 57-Year-Old Man
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a Stafford crash Thursday, March 14. Michael Pickeral was heading east on Joshua Road when he was struck by a westbound driver that swerved into oncoming traffic just after 5:15 p.m., the sheriff's office said. Pickeral was hit head-on near Greenleaf Terrace. Deputies, Fire and Rescue staff, and a witness all attempted to perform life-saving measures on the motorcyclist. Shopper Tried Torching Victim During Supermarket Fight In Virginia: Police
A man was arrested for trying to light a spray canister on fire as he pointed it toward another person during an argument outside of a supermarket in Prince William County, authorities said. Selvin Magdaleno Corrales Alvarado, 20, of Woodbridge, was found in the parking lot of Food Lion on Richmond Highway around 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, after arguing with a person collecting shopping carts, county police said.
