A Baltimore man took police on a high speed pursuit in Virginia, but he wasn't quick enough to outrun a police K9 in Fauquier County, officials say.
Marcus Johnson, 46, is facing multiple charges after being treated for a dog bite following a pursuit that approached 120 mph over the holiday weekend.

A 37-year-old Virginia woman is facing charges for a crash that left her passenger dead, authorities said.
Shannon P. Day, of Sumerduck, was driving under the influence at the time of the Shipps Tore Road crash in Fauquier County on Saturday, March 2 at 10:25 p.m., Virginia State Police said.
Day was in a 2018 Ford Explorer going west on Route 637 when she failed to maneuver a curve ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree, police said.

'Wild Go-Getter:' 25-Year-Old Killed In Fauquier County Crash
Virginia State Police have identified the victim of a Fauquier County crash this week as a 25-year-old man.
Chandler P. Povlsen, of Bealeton, was was heading south on Balls Mill Road near Rockdale Lane in Midland, in a 1994 Ford Ranger, when he crossed over the double solid yellow centerline around 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, VSP said.
Povlsen ran off the left side of the roadway, and collided with several trees. He was taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital, where he later died, police said.
Povlsen was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

A Fauquier County teen pled guilty to murder charges for the death of his family members on Valentine's Day in 2020, WTOP reported.
On February 14, 2020, Levi Norwood, who is now 19, shot and killed his mother, Jennifer, and his 6-year-old brother, Wyatt, the website said.
In 2020, Norwood's girlfriend allegedly said he was depressed, anxious, and schizophrenic, and that he mentioned to her that he wanted to kill his mother on the day he shot her, WTOP said.
