A grocery store bomb threat, a robbery, and a dramatic chase ended in handcuffs for a man now facing a slew of charges in Prince William County, police say.
At around 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, police say Dwayne Andre Bolden, 35, who has no fixed address, turned a routine grocery store theft into chaos when he threatened to blow up the Food Lion on Richmond Highway after being confronted by an employee.
Bolden fled before officers arrived, according to a Prince William County Police Department spokesperson.

It was a chaotic evening in Woodbridge as officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to multiple domestic disputes, officials say.
The first call came in around 7:46 p.m. on Nov. 18 from the 15500 block of Farm Creek Drive, where a verbal altercation between a 20-year-old woman and her acquaintance, later identified as John Jeremiah Bailey, 22, took a violent turn.
According to police, Bailey allegedly assaulted the woman before leading her to a nearby apartment complex, where the situation escalated further.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office let the dogs out, and it resulted in a suspect being swiftly apprehended, officials say.
Kayshawn Purdie, 25, was quick, but he wasn't quick enough to outrun police K9 Titan, who was key in taking down the man wanted for an assault.
According to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, deputies were called to Garrison Woods to investigate a reported assault.

Police arrested two people after one was caught shoplifting at a Stafford Walmart, authorities announced.
Walmart workers caught a woman later identified as Natalie Hardee, 40, of Woodbridge, stuffing items into a duffel bag at the Village Parkway store in Stafford on Saturday, Aug. 19, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
Hardee left the store after being confronted by employees, and left in a vehicle driven by Brian Padgett, 36, of Annandale, Decatur said.
