Jerry Tyree, who has previous weapon and drug convictions in Maryland and the District, was found guilty by a Superior Court jury of aggravated assault while armed for shooting his victim in November last year in Northeast DC.  Court documents state that Tyree met his victim at the intersection of Eastern Avenue NE and Foote Street NE shortly before 2 p.m., on Nov. 29, 2023, where they negotiated a price for oral sex.
