Virginia Native, Former Bengals Star RB Rudi Johnson Dies At 45 In Reported Suicide Rudi Johnson, a Virginia native who rushed for 1,000 yards in the NFL multiple times with the Cincinnati Bengals, has died at 45 in a reported suicide.  Bengals' officials confirmed that Johnson has passed away this week following a standout career that started in Virginia, took him to Butler Community College in Kansas, before he starred at Auburn University.
