Preteen Arrested For Robberies In Northwest DC, Metropolitan Police Say A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after being involved in a pair of robberies in Northwest DC, the Metropolitan Police Department announced on Tuesday night. In late September, police said that a group of people - including the preteen - approached their first victim as he was standing next to his electric bicycle in the 1300 block of Irving Street NW.  A group of five approached the man from behind and attacked him, taking the bike before attempting to flee. On the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 15, an 11-year-old girl reportedly received a social media threat by a 12-year-old boy, according to a Prince William County Police Department spokesperson. 12-Year-Old In DC Accused Of Robbing. Student At Gunpoint Police say that a 12-year-old boy has been arrested and charged for an armed robbery in Washington, DC last month. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announced on Thursday, Jan. 5 that the child has been charged with armed robbery with a gun following an investigation into a midday altercation on Wednesday, Dec. 7 in the 600 block of N Street in Northwest DC.
