New details have been released by the Fairfax County Police Department after a bicyclist died at the hospital when he was struck by a driver at a busy intersection on Wednesday. Thief Captured After Arlington Bicycle, Foot Chase: Cops
A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting an employee trying to stop him during a robbery in Arlington, police said. A man later identified as Deonte Driver went into a business on the 700 block of N. Glebe Road around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, county police said. Driver allegedly took and hid items in a basket, and began to leave without paying.
