Virginia Man Stabs Mother’s Boyfriend, Calls 911 To Confess, Police Say A 20-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested after stabbing his mother’s boyfriend and then calling 911 to report the incident, authorities announced. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Townsend Boulevard at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, following the suspect’s call. When they arrived, they found Jaydon Mathew Staples flagging them down outside the residence.  Officers detained Staples, who surrendered the weapon and cooperated with officers at the scene, according to the Fredericksburg County Police Department.
