A 37-year-old, who is said to be suffering side effects of a recent brain surgery, was reported missing on August 1 in Virginia Beach, authorities reported. Shawn Post was last seen at his residence in the 2700 block Renaissance Way at around 7:40 a.m., according to City of Virginia Beach Department of Police. Post is allegedly suffering from amnesia, short term memory loss, and confusion from a recent brain surgery, police said. A former Ocean Lakes high school teacher was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday, August 1, after he sexually assaulted an exchange student, officials said.Robert Weisenbeck, 55, pled guilty to charges on March 30 for sexually assaulting the female foreign exchange student he was the host father of, according to the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney's Office. Juvenile Arrested In Shooting That Killed 18-Year-Old In VA Beach: Police
Police have arrested a juvenile suspect for their involvement in a Virginia Beach shooting.On June 9 at around 3 p.m., officers found a victim suffering a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of King Charles Court, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. Da'Myrian Durel, 18, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the shooting, authorities said. A 19-year-old man died and an 18-year-old man was injured in a Virginia Beach shooting on Wednesday July 20, police said. Police arrived at the 5600 block of Lone Holly Lane to find two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, the Virginia Beach Police Department said. Jakhari Hall later died from his injuries in the hospital and the second unidentified victim, 18, was in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, officials reported.
