A 43-year-old man was found by a friend suffering from fatal injuries inside a vehicle in Triangle, according to the Prince William County Police Department. A 54-year-old Maryland woman who was carjacked and killed by her own vehicle in Loudoun County on Sunday morning has been identified by the sheriff's office. Silver Spring resident Melody Waldecker was in the 21000 block of Towncenter Plaza when she was carjacked at around 11:40 a.m. on July 29 in Sterling by a suspect who has yet to be named by investigators. One person was killed by a vehicle in a construction site in Alexandria on Wednesday morning, police say. Shortly after 7:30 a.m. on July 24, officers were called to the 5700 block of Duke Street, where there was a reported injury.
