Schools Schedule Closures, Early Dismissals In Virginia With Snow Storm Incoming With a snow and ice storm expected to batter Maryland and Virginia, some schools announced that there would be some closures and early dismissals on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Upwards of six inches of snow are expected in parts of the region, forecasters warn, and road conditions are expected to be tricky. Minor Accused Of Aiding In Terrorism Following Series Of Swatting Incidents In VA, Sheriff Says A juvenile who has caused chaos for the Stafford County Sheriff's Office has been charged and prosecuted following a lengthy investigation into a series of swatting incidents, authorities announced. Between May and September last year, investigators say that crews were called to a plethora of swatting incidents at several schools that were purportedly targeted by the underage suspect.
