Metro Train Derails Near Reagan Airport With 50 Passengers On Board
Some travelers were left in a lurch on Friday morning when a train derailed near Reagan National Airport. Service was suspended temporarily on the Blue and Yellow lines on Friday, Sept. 29 as officials investigated a derailment that impacted at least 50 passengers who were on board at the time. According to WMATA, the incident happened around 10 a.m. resulting in trains being shut down between Potomac Yard and the airport.
