But the Oakton High School teacher has no problem rocking a shorter look if it means easing some pain for a child. And that's exactly what she's doing these days. Last month, Hosken cut 11 inches of her hair to benefit children experiencing medically-related hair-loss. It's all part of an event happening March 16 called The Great Cut, in which an organization called The Longhairs will try to beat their own record for the most hair cut in a day, set in 2019. Police Charge Teen Driver In Crash That Killed 2 Oakton High Students A grand jury indicted the 18-year-old driver who killed two Oakton High School students as they walked home from school in a crash earlier this month. Several others were also seriously injured in the June 7 wreck.  Usman Shahid, 18, of Fairfax, is expected to turn himself over to authorities on Thursday, June 23, Fairfax County police announced. Shahid will be arraigned on involuntary manslaughter charges, officials said.  Shahid was speeding in his BMW down Blake Lane when he crashed into an SUV at the intersection with Five Oaks Road in Oakton, police said.
