Woman Hit, Killed By Car While Walking Dog In Virginia: Police Police have identified the 57-year-old woman killed in Prince William County after being struck by a vehicle while walking her dog. Officers were called to the area of Mapledale Drive near Miles Court in Woodbridge at around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian. According to the Prince William County Police Department, Maria Isabel Cardozo was walking her dog in the neighborhood when a 30-year-old driver left the roadway and drove onto the sidewalk, striking her.
