Motorcyclist, 28, Killed In Head-On, High Speed Virginia Crash A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Rappahannock County motorcycle crash Friday, Jan. 26, Virginia State Police said. Kono Yang, of Burke, was heading west on Lee Highway at a high rate of speed on a 2018 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control maneuvering a curve around 2:45 p.m., VSP Sgt. Brent Coffey said. Yang crossed the double solid yellow centerline and struck an eastbound Mazda CX-9 head-on about a mile west of Estes Mill Road, Coffey said. Yang died at the scene of the crash due to his injuries.
