Gettysburg Trooper Hit By Drunk VA Driver Hospitalized, PA State Police Say A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.  Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release.  The name of the trooper stuck was not shared, but Kishbach noted the trooper was a man from Gettysburg. …

Maryland Man Steals Taxi From Richmond Airport Going 120 MPH On Chase In Pennsylvania: Police A 23-year-old Maryland man has been arrested for stealing a taxi from an airport in Richmond, Virginia, and leading police on a high-speed chase in Pennsylvania, on Dec. 18, authorities say.  The Pennsylvania state police attempted a traffic stop at 12:37 a.m. when Yacob Abera Alemu was clocked going 99 mph in a 65 mph zone.
