A 21-year-old man was jailed after his firearm discharged during a fight near an Arlington preschool, bringing a heavy police presence to the scene last week, police said. Arlington's Chase Smith displayed a handgun during an argument with another man around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 on the 2200 block of S. Kenmore Street, county police said. Authorities are looking for a convicted felon they say shot multiple shots into an Ashburn apartment in Ashburn and then ran away. Angad S. Sivia, 30, of Leesburg, was visiting an Omeara Terrace home at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
